USA network’s all-new reboot of WWE Tough Enough is set to premiere April 4th at 11/10c, the day after WrestleMania XXVII, immediately following RAW. IGN had the chance to visit the set of this hard-hitting reality competition, walk through the sweet digs over at the Simi Valley Spanish-style ranch (nestled in the Santa Susana Mountains) and talk to series trainer and former seven-time WWE Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus.

Who is Trish a fan of nowadays? Well, she simply gushed over her fellow-Canadian Diva, Natalya. “She’s untapped,” Trish said with a smile. “Fans are starting to get to know her more and more and I’m just waiting for the day where she goes out there and really can do her thing because I don’t think she’s been given the opportunity to really get out there and show everybody what she’s got.”

In a recent Bret Hart interview, Natalya came up a couple times in it and here is what Bret had to say:

Thoughts on Natalya getting pushed and recognition while Tyson and DH are held back:

“Well, they have to work on making their characters a little more entertaining. They’re great wrestlers and have a lot of potential but I think Nattie is showing them that you gotta be more than just a great wrestler. There’s so much more involved in wrestling than just the physical part, you got to be able to sell yourself and make yourself a bit of a character. “

Thoughts on Nattie doing the double sharpshooter at TLC PPV:

“Nattie is an innovator and she’s got a great mind for wrestling. I remember when Nattie first decided to become a female wrestler and I remember trying so hard to talk her out of it and after a few months I realized, she really wanted it so bad, and I started giving her advice. She’s always had a great mind for it, she studies it. She’s a great wrestler and a lot of the guys including her dad could probably take a page out of her notes. She’s a great professional. “

In Bret Hart’s recent blog he commented on Natalya’s title win. You can read what he said below – it’s very true and heart warming:

I want to congratulate my niece, Nattie (or Natalya) on fulfilling her lifelong dream by winning the WWE Divas title from the feisty Michelle McCool and Layla last weekend. The Hart kingdom, even now, is still ringing bells in honor of her victory. She never ever once since being a little girl, has let up on this dream despite so many roadblocks in achieving this. She’s made all of us in the industry (the fans, the wrestlers, the WWE, and me) so happy for her. No one has worked harder, dreamed larger, or achieved more as a Hart in pro wrestling. Way to go, girl. You’ve earned it. I know in my heart that both my parents, Davey and Owen watched from the heavens cheering your every move.

Natalya’s title win at Survivor Series has got everyone talking!
Jim Ross posted a blog and commented on her win; while others including Trish Stratus, Lisa Marie and Tommy Dreamer tweeted their reaction to Nattie winning. You can read all their comments below!

Jim Ross:

Good to see Beth Phoenix back on TV and congrats to Nattie Neidhart for winning the Divas Title. I would love to see WWE be able to put more time into the Divas area of the promotion as we get tons of emails from folks who are fans of the female athletes. Nonetheless no one can wave a magic wand and recreate the magic that Trish and Lita, among many others, possessed back in the day

Trish Stratus:

Big PPV last nite! Congrats to my girl @natbynature on becoming new Divas Champ–so proud! And welcome back @thebethphoenix…I see some good wrestling on the horizon ~T

Lisa Marie Varon:

@natbynature congratulations to my bff Nattie. She deserves the best. She’s my little wombat. I love you girlie.

Tommy Dreamer:

Congrats to @Natbynature I wish I would have seen you win the WWE Womans Title.Your hard work & luv for the biz paid off.

Jim Ross posted a new blog and mentioned Natalya. Here’s what he said:

It was obvious from seeing her in Chicago that Natalya Neidhart has upped her training regime and is ready to take another positive step forward within WWE. She looks great and is so bright. I would love to see Natalya get more wrestling time. Nattie is very business savvy and might even make a great broadcaster some day. Who knows?

In an interview with Angelina’s official website, Angel-Williams.net, Angelina has some kind words about Nattie:

Question 7: During your time as DSW, you worked with many other female talents, what was it like working with Natalie (Natalya) Neidhart, a Third Generation female?

Nattie is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We didnt really get that much time to work together though because DSW shut down and I ended up leaving WWE. It would have been fun I’m sure!
