Divas Champion Natalya vs. Lay-Cool (2-on-1 Handicap Match)

They’re no longer the self-professed “Co-Divas Champions,” but Layla & Michelle McCool haven’t lost their luster – at least in their own eyes. And this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, WWE’s Mean Girls will be double trouble for reigning Divas Champion Natalya when they challenge the sexy, smart and powerful Hart Dungeon graduate for the coveted butterfly-emblazoned title.

For the past several months, Lay-Cool has been determined to cut down Natalya at every turn, but they seemed to intensify their torment following the 23rd annual Survivor Series, where the pink-and-black clad Diva silenced the boisterous BFFs in a hard-fought 2-on-1 Handicap Match to attain the Divas Championship – her first title in WWE. Supported by a returning Beth Phoenix, Natalya made Lay-Cool feel less than “flawless” just weeks later at WWE TLC, where she made both Layla & Michelle taste timber in the first-ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match.

While the Hart descendent more recently turned her attention to new No. 1 contender Melina, Lay-Cool has been determined to become WWE’s top Divas once again. After Natalya turned back the Latina lovely with the legendary Sharpshooter on Raw, just six days before the Royal Rumble, SmackDown’s torturous tandem stormed onto Monday night’s hottest show to remind the Divas Champion that Lay-Cool had yet to invoke their rematch clause, and would challenge Natalya in a 2-on-1 Handicap rematch for the title at the Royal Rumble.

Will Lay-Cool initiate another “flawless” title reign? Or will Natalya once again defy the 2-on-1 odds and continue her dominance of the Divas division? To find out, tune in to the Royal Rumble, this Sunday, live on pay-per-view.

Divas Champion Natalya & Beth Phoenix vs. Team Lay-Cool (Divas Tag Team Tables Match)

Divas Champion Natalya & Beth Phoenix would like nothing better than to teach Michelle McCool & Layla some manners. And at WWE TLC, they will try and “set the table,” against Team Lay-Cool in the first-ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match.

The reign of self-professed “Co-Divas Champions” Michele & Layla came to a sudden halt at Survivor Series, when third-generation Diva Natalya captured the Butterfly Title in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, making Michelle tap-out with the Sharpshooter. When the “flawless” duo attacked the new champion after the match, Beth Phoenix surprised the WWE Universe, reemerging from an injury that Lay-Cool caused several months ago to clean house. The Glamazon exploded onto the scene, taking out both members of Team Lay-Cool before helping Natalya celebrate her history-making new title reign.

For the next few weeks Beth Phoenix continued to be a thorn in the side of the former champions on SmackDown, taking them out as they were mocking Hornswoggle and stopping Michelle’s interference as Layla took on Natalya.

But business was about to pick up for Lay-Cool just days before WWE TLC. One-half of SmackDown’s resident “Mean Girls,” the ornery Michelle McCool, eliminated Natalya in the Diva Battle Royal – netting she and her conceited cohort Layla not only the Slammy for Diva of the Year, but also the opportunity to inflict damage on the blonde beauties in the first-ever table encounter of its kind.

Will Divas Champion Natalya and her best friend The Glamazon leave splinters in Team Flawless, or will the Michelle McCool & Layla have the last laugh?

Find out at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, live this Sunday at 8/7 CT, only on pay-per-view.

Self-professed “Co-Divas Champion” Layla vs. Natalya
Following weeks of verbal and physical jabs courtesy of self-professed “Co-Divas Champions” Lay-Cool, Natalya will no doubt seek retribution against Layla and hope to capture the butterfly-emblazoned title at WWE Bragging Rights.

Natalya last collided with WWE’s Mean Girls on the pay-per-view stage at Hell in a Cell, where Layla threw a shoe at the third-generation competitor to intentionally disqualify defending Divas Champion Michelle McCool. Although Layla technically cost her “BFF” the match, she also rescued Michelle from submitting to Natalya’s excruciating Sharpshooter – a maneuver she added to her repertoire as a tribute to her uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart.

As the first female graduate of the Hart Dungeon, Natalya has never backed down from a fight, and while one might think Lay-Cool’s constant bullying would be discouraging, Michelle & Layla’s torment has only bolstered Natalya’s desire to win her first championship in WWE.

Just two nights before WWE Bragging Rights, Natalya forced Layla to tap out to the Sharpshooter in tag action on SmackDown.

Will Layla rack up another “flawless” victory? Or will a Sharpshooter earn Natalya her first championship? To find out, tune in to WWE Bragging Rights, Oct. 24, only on pay-per-view.

Unified Divas Championship Match

Following weeks of verbal and physical jabs courtesy of self-professed “co-Unified Divas Champions” Lay-Cool, Natalya will no doubt seek retribution against the taunting tandem – and capture their butterfly-emblazoned title – at WWE Bragging Rights.

Natalya last collided with WWE’s Mean Girls at Hell in a Cell, where Layla threw a shoe at Natalya to intentionally disqualify defending Unified Divas Champion Michelle McCool. Although Layla technically cost her BFF the match, she also rescued Michelle from Natalya’s excruciating Sharpshooter – a maneuver she added to her repertoire as a tribute to her uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart.

As the first female graduate of the legendary Hart Dungeon, Natalya has never backed down from a fight, and while one might think Lay-Cool’s constant bullying would be discouraging, Michelle & Layla’s torment has only bolstered Natalya’s desire to win her first championship in WWE.

However, it remains unclear which member of Lay-Cool Natalya will be battling at Bragging Rights. As stipulated by SmackDown’s Special Consultant Vickie Guerrero, either Michelle or Layla can defend the title. Regardless of who is actually competing in the match, the WWE Universe can expect both members of Lay-Cool to play a role.

Will the first-ever Unified Divas Champions rack up another “flawless” victory? Or will a Sharpshooter earn third-generation Diva Natalya her first title win? To find out, tune in to WWE Bragging Rights, Oct. 24, only on pay-per-view.

Unified Divas Champion Michelle McCool vs. Natalya
At Hell in a Cell, the “Flawless History-Maker” clashes with legendary lineage as Unified Divas Champion Michelle McCool puts the butterfly on the line against the pink and black attack of Natalya.

Michelle McCool has made making history look easy. Just two weeks ago, the multiple-time champion unified both the Divas and Women’s Championships, retiring one of WWE’s longest-running and prestigious titles. As BFFs, Team Lay-Cool has been simply “flawless” in the Divas division – using questionable tactics to secure their stronghold.

But their luck may change at Hell in a Cell.

On Raw, Natalya won a Diva Battle Royal to cement her place as No. 1 contender to Lay-Cool’s Unified Divas Championship. WWE’s first third-generation Diva struck fear in the faces of Michelle McCool and Layla as they sat in on commentary. Next, on SmackDown live from Oklahoma, Natalya continued her positive momentum heading into Hell in a Cell with a win in Diva tag action.

What will happen when Michelle McCool faces a determined Hart Dynasty Diva? Will the “Flawless History-Maker’s” gold-bearing continue, or will Lay-Cool’s reign be usurped by the legendary lineage of Natalya? To find out, tune in to Hell in a Cell, this Sunday, live on pay-per-view, or see it up close and personal in Dallas at the American Airlines Center. Tickets are still available here!

Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso

Two of WWE’s most fiercely competitive families will collide at Money in the Bank, where The Hart Dynasty will defend their Unified Tag Team Championship against Jimmy & Jey Uso.

Signed to Raw by then-General Manager Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Jimmy & Jey– with the devious Diva, Tamina, by their side – made their mark in WWE by targeting Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith and the beautiful Natalya to send a message not only to the “first family in sports-entertainment,” but to the entire WWE Universe: The Usos have arrived, and they’re here to obliterate all opposition.

When The Hart Dynasty asked The Excellence of Execution why he would set the Usos loose on Monday Night Raw to stalk his own flesh and blood, the WWE Hall of Famer affirmed that Kidd, Hart & Natalya needed to “face a little adversity,” which they did at Fatal 4-Way, competing against the Usos & Tamina in an explosive Six-Person Tag Team Match. Dedicating the match to their ailing mentor – who was still recovering from a savage beatdown by The Nexus the previous week – the Harts had their arms raised high in victory when Natalya scored a pinfall on Tamina. But the Usos’ hunger for family recognition is hardly sated, nor is their thirst for their first championship win in WWE.

With Natalya and Tamina in their respective families’ corners, will Kidd & Hart retain their coveted championships? Or will Jimmy & Jey Uso prove that there’s a new dominant family in WWE? Tune in to Money in the Bank Sunday, July 18, only on pay-per-view.
